NEW, "StarCluster" LED Camera Light

Compact LED soft light for photo and video, especially useful when shooting videos with DSLRs and CSSs.

8,5 x 6 cm (3,3 x 2,4 inch) panel 96 white High-CRI-LEDs, 5600 K color temperature (daylight/neutral color rendition), continiously dimmable. 600 lux illuminance at 1 m distance and 60° angle of radiation (half-value angle). Crystal clear protective screen. Magnetic fixtures for diffusor screen and artificial light filter for conversion to 3200K (both included). Power supply by five standard AA batteries or rechargeables housed in the rear battery compartment. Can also be powered by a Canon LP-E6 battery (standard battery of EOS 5D MK II and 7D, 60D) attached on the rear side. Terminal for mains adapter.

Several lights can be combined side by side or on top of each other by a special catching system.

Automatic controls of today's digital SLRs are normally doing their job for the most part, but occasionally may fall short interpreting the scene in front of the lens, leading to suboptimal white balance or exposure. Sometimes there is also a need to exactly replicate a certain colour. While all this can be optimized on a PC with a calibrated screen, it is better to do it right with the shooting.

 

ProDisk combines a grey card, a white balance filter and a colour checker in a slim folding plastic housing. Grey card and colour checker are sheltered in the upper resp. lower covers, that fold backwards up to 180° to open for the white balance filter.
